Saint Crépin, the aerodrome that you did not expect! It has the proud title of being the "northernmost airfield in the Southern Alps". This exceptional mountain flying site will lead your amazed eyes to fly over the peaks of the Queyras and the Ecrins.
Discover this "hidden must", between the city of Briançon and the lake of Serre-Ponçon, on the edge of the Durance, at the foot of the Ecrins massif and the Queyras Regional Park. The airfield, at 903 m of altitude, is stuck in the bottom of the valley as to let the thermals send you to the firmaments! The two runways are oriented North/South, a hard runway of 873 m more particularly reserved for planes and a grass glider runway of 650 m.
