Bee House

These are horseshoe-shaped stone structures, facing the rising sun or midday, close to a water source. Protected in this way, the bees can cope with natural hazards.
Inside the enclosure, there are transverse stone benches on which the bruscs or wooden hives rest.
Although they can be found in La Tinée and La Vésubie, it is in La Roya that the greatest concentration of "bee houses" can be found.
