The discovery trail of the cedar forest invites you to visit a site remarkable for its location on the crests of the Petit Luberon and composed of a 150 year old cedar grove, oak groves, lawns and Mediterranean scrubland.
You will contemplate the magnificent view from the belvedere of Portalas, overlooking the lower valley of the Durance.
This forest has been equipped to accommodate people with reduced mobility. The installations thus give to all the possibility of going in this splendid place.

The path was made with more than 60 m3 of wood from the cedar forest, exploited within the framework of the management of the forest by the ONF and transformed by local companies.

This project, in addition to its accessibility, highlights the natural heritage of Vaucluse and allows everyone to discover the richness and beauty of its biodiversity, particularly thanks to five educational and recreational areas set up along the route.
In brief :
A reception area with specific parking
A 1200 meters path for all handicaps to the forest and the botanical path
A wooden path for easy walking
Tactile signs at wheelchair height
Five educational areas
A "tourism and handicap" label in progress.

"When visiting a Sensitive Natural Area, adopt the right gestures and appropriate behaviors: do not take any species, do not pick any flowers, keep your waste with you, be discreet so as not to disturb the animals and stay on the paths."
