Created in 1927 by Jean Baptiste Julien Pignol, the Roudelet Félibren's mission is to preserve and defend everything that can be linked to Provence and its traditions.
Created in 1927 by Jean Baptiste Julien Pignol, founder of the Château-Gombert Museum, the Roudelet-Felibren's mission is to preserve and defend all that, in the life of the village, can be linked to Provence and its traditions.
During the years, the Roudelet-Felibren knew presidents devoted and anxious to preserve and promote the folklore of Provence. Surrounding themselves with valorous volunteers, they succeeded in transmitting and in making recognize the folklore for its foundations and its values.
Since 1964, it organizes every year in July the International Festival of Folklore of Château Gombert.
