Centre for the study, restoration and Conservation of the Œuvres (CERCO)

The "Centre of study, restoration and Conservation of Œuvres" is designed as a place for preservation and management of collections, of patrimonial libraries and the historical archives of the Museon Arlaten. He associated with reserve, an area of consultation, technical workshops of restoration, dust removal, framing and light carpentry, and a room dedicated to the disinsection of works by freezing and Anoxia (oxygen deprivation).CERCO allowing teams to the Museum to carry out the inventory, packaging of works, books and archives, and the preparation of exhibitions in optimal conditions. Consultation space welcomes appointment any person having a study or project documentation on the written heritage of the Museon (libraries, archives) and its intangible heritage (sound and audiovisual Fund from the collections investigations carried out on the territory of the Bouches).
