The Centre socio-culturel Jean-Paul Coste was created in 1968 by a group of mothers to provide childcare and book loans. With over 50 years' experience, it offers a multitude of services, events and activities for the whole family.

The Centre socio-culturel Jean-Paul Coste provides a variety of activities for children, teenagers and adults: - 1-5 year olds: library - 6-13 year olds: graphic arts, theatre, classic guitar, recorder - 13-18 year olds: library, theatre, classic guitar, recorder - over 18s: watercolour, drawing, recorder, chair re-upholstery, art history, first click workshop (introduction to basic digital techniques) and writing workshop - seniors (66 and over): reading “K-fé”, scrabble, library, numbers and letters, embroidery, cross-stitch and Lavender Club (card games, trips, holidays). The social club also welcomes: - children aged 1 (able to walk) to 4 at Le Jardin de Mady ([email protected]) - 3-5 year olds at Le Jardin d'enfants Aix ([email protected]) and 3-11 year olds at La Duranne ([email protected]) - 4-12 year olds, Accueil Collectif de Mineurs d'Aix-en-Provence with cultural, sporty and leisurely educational activities, courses and themed outings ([email protected]) - 14-17 year olds in Luynes youth centre with music area (decks, DJ, piano), job club (guidance and professional experience), games area with pool table, table football, board games and multimedia area: free internet access, digital projects and network games ([email protected] -3 -17 year olds, leisure centre in Les Milles (Joseph Roumanille primary school).Cultural activities, sports, themed courses and holidays ([email protected]).
