Climbing site of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, La Valample -Les arômes
Les Arômes in La Valample, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, has four climbing routes.
1. Le Fenouil (Fennel) - COT: 4a
2. La Lavande (Lavender) - COT: 3b
3. Le Thym (Thyme) - COT: 3b
4. Le Romarin (Rosemary) - COT: 3c
The routes on offer range in difficulty from 3b to 4a.
The car park is located on Chemin de Baldouin.
The ‘Escalade dans les Alpilles’ guidebook is available at the Alpilles en Provence Tourist Office (subject to availability).
In summer, forest areas are more prone to fire. To protect walkers and sites, access to the Bouches-du-Rhône mountains, including the Alpilles, is regulated from 1 June to 30 September.
The danger levels are determined daily for each forest area. They can be consulted from 6 p.m. for the following day at: www.risque-prevention-incendie.fr/13
