The « Plan d'eau » at Jausiers is a man-made bathing lake set alongside the Ubaye river, and surrounded by grassy lawns and shaded picnic areas.
It has a shallow, paved beach which is perfect for younger children and a large secure swimming area.
In summer, the swimming area is monitored by lifeguards. On the same site there is a restaurant with large terraces, a snack bar for ice-creams and cold drinks and a private beach area with sun-loungers for hire.
In addition to the lake there are tennis courts, a climbing wall and a tree-top assault course for children.
