La Kabine is an association created in April 2021 by three emerging artists, graduates of the École nationale supérieure de la photographie d'Arles, Florent Basiletti, Juliette Larochette and Rosalie Parent.
In the desire for a collective project, it seemed important to us to engage our knowledge in the common and to understand new collective forms in Arles. Following a joint workshop project from October 2020 to May 2021, during the health crisis we understood the importance of coming together to carry out collective projects. La Kabine was born out of a desire to shed light on different ways of looking at the world.
La Kabine is an image center whose aim is to promote photography and the visual arts through support for the creation and dissemination of works, the promotion of emerging artists, the creation of artist residencies, exhibitions and cultural events, in close relationship with the local area and with Arles-based players and institutions.
