Reach an altitude of 2491 m and enjoy an exceptional panorama with a view of the Aiguilles d'Arves, the Pelvoux and all the peaks of the Ecrins National Park.
From the P4 "Chante Guisane" car park, take the tarmac road to the Serre d'Aigle square.
For this walk, we suggest the ascent by the Ratier telecabin (paying access)
Climb to the top of Serre-Chevalier Vallée where a grandiose 360° view on the surrounding valleys awaits you. For the return journey, there are two possibilities:
- route number 23 which winds first along a steep path offering a superb view, then through undergrowth taking you back to the intermediate station of Serre-Ratier (or a descent to Chantemerle by the gondola is possible).
Route number 25 via the Col de la Ricelle, the Troix Croix, the sentier des Lutins and your choice of the Serre-Ratier intermediate station or the descent to Chantemerle on foot along a wooded path (some sections are a little steep).
Option: outside the period when the lifts are in operation (July, August) the ascent is made via the service road linking Chantemerle to Serre-Ratier, then Serre-Ratier to Serre-Chevalier.
