Please note that this section is for experienced riders only. Closed when the flow is too great.
You can see them in the distance, announcing sections that are jam-packed, challenging and wild!
What makes it so special is the steep gradient, with the current picking up speed and creating more violent and voluminous water movements.
The boats, carried along by this acceleration, require faster navigation, dexterity, precision, good anticipation and good hazard management.
The rapids come one after the other, right from the sporting ‘straight line’ at the start, where the waves seem to be constantly trying to lift us off our feet.
There was a lot of movement and shaking, and it was a particular source of satisfaction for the team to have chosen and succeeded in taking the right route.
With the guide's encouragement, the team became closer and more united. A must!
You'll love the very special atmosphere as you pass beneath the Méolans bell tower, which seems to stand on its immense rock.
