The Liouquet beach is located at the eastern end of La Ciotat. It is the last beach in the Bouches-du-Rhône department.
The Liouquet beach is a pebble beach situated below the cornice of the same name. This beach is accessible by stairs from the cornice. The right-hand side of the beach is forbidden because of a risk of landslide. Only the part to the left of the stairs is allowed. This part is narrow but still pleasant because it is quiet and shady.
This is a non-smoking beach and dogs are not allowed on the beach.
There is a hotel and several restaurants close to the beach.
