Created in 1968, this wildcat breeding center is the only one of its kind in France. It ensures the survival of endangered species.
La Fauverie du Mont Faron is not a conventional zoo, but a carnivore breeding center specializing in felines in serious danger of extinction: tigers, lions, panthers, jaguars, ocelots, servals, caracals, lynxes, Siberian cats, marsh cats, as well as wolves, brown and striped hyenas, raccoons and hamadryas, await you for a visit lasting over an hour.
