Just 10 minutes from the city center, the neoclassical Noailles media library, formerly a Rothschild villa built in 1881, is a listed historic monument, as are its gardens of Mediterranean, tropical and Asian origin.

Built by Baroness Betty de Rothschild in 1881, the eponymous villa and its lush garden are classified as a Historic Monument. Now home to the Noailles media library, this superb villa is a great place to stroll. At Villa Rothschild, it is good to let time pass by to the rhythm of the readings and cultural events that take place there.

To borrow materials from the libraries and media centres of Cannes, you must have a subscription.

Subscription fees for residents of Cannes:

Full price: €12

Youth rate: €3 with proof of age
Under 18 and students up to 26 years old

Reduced rate: €7 with proof
APC Aventura members, Cannes Université, Cannes Pass Culture, holidaymakers (valid for one month), Cannes Bel Âge

Subscriptions are valid for 1 year (from date to date) and renewable annually.

Late fees: €0.20 per item per day
Photocopy: €0.15
Replacement card (in case of loss): €2
Book bag: €3

Those eligible for free access to all materials must present proof dated within the last 3 months or a tax notice.

Access to the Internet in the reading room requires a valid subscriber card.
