The Baie de Chanteloube is famous for its ancient viaduct, which is revealed when the lake waters recede. On the Trémouilles beach you can admire the famous Pic du Morgon.
The beach consists of a lawn and pebbles. There is a shaded picnic area, fire places (barbecues), beach volleyball and petanque courts and toilet facilities. Swimming is supervised during the summer school holidays.
STATIONING La Baie de Chanteloube has 6 PARKING PARKS (P1, P2, P3, P4, P5 and P6) with almost 350 spaces. Car parks P5 and P6 are subject to a fixed charge of 3.5 euros, payable only by credit card (CB), every day of the week until 7pm.
You can also get to Chanteloube Bay by FREE SHUTTLE from Chorges village centre.
The shuttle runs from Saturday 06 July 2024 until Sunday 25 August 2024, with a departure every 50 minutes from 10.10am to 7.20pm. The last return from Chanteloube is at 7.45pm! Please note that on Sundays, the "Chorges - Gare" stop is not served due to the market. Passengers are invited to go to the "Chorges- Ecoles" stop.
