The Ranquet beach extends over 1,850 m2 to the south-east of the town of Istres. A key feature of the district, its development and that of its immediate surroundings will reinforce the family identity of the site.

South of the city of Istres, bathed by the pond of Berre, the beach of Ranquet is a destination appreciated by the locals, with a family identity.

Lined with palm trees, the Ranquet beach offers a postcard setting at the gates of the city of Istres, for a guaranteed change of scenery. With a sandy area of 1850 m², it also offers quality facilities: picnic areas and tables, a floating platform anchored at a depth of 2.5 meters, toilets and showers, and a first aid post to monitor the bathing area from June to September.

The Ranquet beach is accessible to people with disabilities.

In summer, the beach can also be accessed free of charge by electric tuk-tuk, for an entertaining and ecological walk.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

The Ranquet beach is served by public transportation, with a bus stop less than 500 meters away. A parking lot, with parking spaces reserved for disabled persons, is available nearby.
