The Pump Track is a track made up of rollers (rounded bumps) and banked turns that can be negotiated without pedaling.
This is achieved by "pumping" the bike on the rollers to give the necessary impetus to go around the track. The Montgenèvre Pump Track is built of clay and asphalt. Our Pump Track offers a variety of layout options and roller sequences. Part of the fun consists in using the track's elements to perform increasingly difficult maneuvers or movement sequences, such as doubling rollers (jumping the gap between two bumps) or negotiating a succession of rollers in a pitching motion (on the rear wheel only). Whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider, you'll enjoy the thrill of beating the speed record, or just getting over the bumps and curves of the track. There's no special type of bike for our Pump Track Vélo, BMX, mountain bikes, children's bikes or even skates, rollerblades, scooters - there's something for everyone to enjoy on the track. Training area at Montgenèvre Bike Park Above Durancia Balnéo & Spa, accessible to all, from beginner to expert. For young and old alike, discover the modules and courses of the Les Chalmettes initiation zone. Access is free of charge. From initiation to mastery of the modules (4 parabolic turns, 4 woops), there's something for everyone.
