The Agora Alpilles area opened in January 2007. It is an extraordinary multi-purpose and modular venue in the heart of the Les Baux Valley and at the foot of the Alpilles; it can be adapted to suit the size and type of event you want to hold, including weddings, gala dinners, dinner shows, concerts and conferences.
With a surface area of 660 m², the Agora Room can hold up to 500 people seated or 700 standing. It has a 100m² stage and a series of fully-equipped booths which can be used as a break-out room (138m²).
The control room is located opposite the stage. It is equipped with modern technology, such as technical controls, stage curtain and cinema screen.
The Agora Alpilles Room also has a vast patio and landscaped garden which can be accessed directly. It is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility and has a 250-space car park.
The Agora Alpilles Room was awarded the 'Grand Prix National de la Construction Bois Publique et Collective' in the category for communes of fewer than 10,000 inhabitants. This prize, awarded by the National Committee for Wood Development, with the support of Forest Wood France, rewards the example set by decision-makers who have 'dared' to use wood to construct innovative, contemporary and environmentally-friendly public buildings.
