This solid west-facing limestone crag dominates the hamlet of Plampinet, offering a 180° view of the upper Clarée valley on one side and the hamlets of Val des Prés on the other. Its shaded slab routes and switchbacks will delight climbers of all levels.

Grading: 5 to 7b Number of routes: 42 Height: 40m Exposition: West Recommended period: May to October Altitude: 1620 Approach walk: 15 minutes Access: at the end of the hamlet of Plampinet, just before the bridge, turn right past the Auberge de la Clarée and park nearby. Follow the track along the river, then enter a steep scree slope to reach the start of the routes.
