Since its creation in 2011, the Théâtre du Bois de l'Aune has pursued a determined policy of creation, long-term accompaniment and support for emerging artists, opening up its stages to artists from all over the world.

Théâtre du Bois de l'Aune explores the art of theatre in all its forms.

The theatre is based in the Jas de Bouffan area in Aix-en-Provence and stands out as a setting for artistic and mutual mentorship weaving connections between the locals and up-and-coming or renowned artists from home and abroad. The schedule covers every area: plays, dance, circus, exhibitions, street theatre, young audiences and more appear through the seasons.

Théâtre du Bois de l'Aune tends to its many audiences and strives to keep the relationship between artists and audiences central to its work.
