Departing from the town-centre, the Via Ferrata of Digne-les-Bains offers various routes and a stunning view over the city.

Facing south-east, it is exposed to the sun all year round. During summer, it is recommended to go in the morning, to profit from the coolness of the shadow.

It is accessible to kids taller than 1m40 and heavier than 40kg.

How to access
Departing from the Tourist Office, take the Boulevard Gassendi and go to the Général de Gaulle square and then to the Cours des Arès. Climb up the stairs (between the Petit Saint Jean hotel and the Café du cours). Continue climbing the Rue de l’Oratoire and turn left on the Chemin de Pied Cocu. From there, take the trail leading to the starting point of the via ferrata that you will reach after a 45-minute walk.
