Setting off from the village of Crévoux, this hike, with its agricultural and woodland backdrops, reveals a host of viewpoints over the surrounding valleys.

From the square in the centre of the village, go down the main road for 50 m then continue left under the houses on a level track. After passing the first wooden cross, continue left uphill on the main track. The track then turns into a balcony path.
Once you reach a track, continue straight ahead until you reach a second cross. Once you get past the crossroads, tale a left fork uphill to reach a plateau. Cross it, then at the crossroads stay on the left-hand track alongside the hedge. Cross it, then at the crossroads stay on the left-hand track alongside the hedge. Once in the forest, leave the path on the left and continue straight on uphill. After 1 km, at the crossroads, continue straight ahead on the track to reach the Bajoulan lookout where you can see Lake Serre-Ponçon and the Massif des Ecrins.
As you retrace your steps, at the crossroads take a right fork uphill. Stay on the track, then continue straight ahead at the intersection.
After 200 m veer left along a woodland path until you come to a track on the edge of a meadow. Turn left to return to the path taken on the outward journey.
From here, continue to the right following the same path as on the outward journey.
