This loop is accessible to all. Whether you're looking for a sporting outing or a family outing around Hyères, there's something for everyone. The route is mainly paved, but also features a few sections of dirt track.
Departure and arrival points are at the Hyères train station. From there, you're off on a beautiful loop through some of the area's most beautiful landscapes and ecosystems, including the Pesquiers salt flats. This protected wetland is the heart of the Hyères ornithological reserve. You're sure to see the emblematic pink flamingo.
The beaches are also well worth a visit, particularly at l'Ayguade, where you can swim, watch the kitesurfers, play beach volleyball or simply enjoy the view. Before starting the second part of the loop, take the time to visit the little Provencal village of l'Ayguade. Then head up the pine-lined cycle path that follows Avenue Decugis. This long axis is renowned for its many fruit and vegetable producers. A great opportunity to fill your basket!
