On this walk, children can go fossil-hunting. The stratifications in the rock are magnificent. Some reveal fine examples of ammonite fossils, which you can photograph but must leave where they are.
Go behind the wash-house. Climb up to the crossroads and turn left. Continue uphill along the olive grove until you reach the forest barrier. After a bend, the track becomes slightly steeper and plunges into the valley formed by the Caletty gorge. Enjoy the scenery and observe the rock layers. Leave the valley and pass through a magnificent white oak grove. Follow the track as far as the intersection of 4 paths (firewater tank), ideal for a picnic break. Then turn around and follow the same route back to the village.
