It's a path lined with about fifty amazing stone sculptures, imagined and created by Monique Eymard, a resident of Ceillac.
-
Originally the cairn was an artificial pile of stones indicating a path or a pass for hikers in the mountains. Sometimes a simple pile, sometimes a real masterpiece when the hiker is an artist at heart.
This discovery walk starts from the Place Philipe Lamour and follows the torrent of Cristillan, tributary of the Guil, to arrive at the sheepfold of Bois Noir. For the less athletic: the road is passable!
