This cycling route between heaven and earth, alternating between gems of the Haut-Var and vertiginous balconies overlooking the Verdon, promises a complete experience. Its wild splendour must be earned: make sure you are well prepared to conquer every hill on this exceptional loop.
At the crossroads, turn left. Leaving Aups, go straight on towards Moissac-Bellevue and continue for a few kilometres. At the foot of the village, turn right. Start the first short climb to reach this hilltop village. Turn slightly right at the fountain and join the road. Turn right and continue to Régusse. At the entrance to the village, turn left on the D260 road, then continue to the centre. Go back on the D30 road and follow towards Montmeyan. The road is pleasant, surrounded by oak trees. In Montmeyan, turn right onto the D13 road. The long descent towards the Verdon begins, so take care on the bends. After about 6 km, you will reach the bridge and cross the Verdon. Start the climb up the D471 road. Continue straight ahead, then turn right onto the D311 road towards Artignosc. In the centre of the village of Saint-Laurent, turn right onto the D411 road. Continue towards Artignosc. Cross the Verdon again, then the village. Then follow the D71 road on the left towards Baudinard. Continue on the plateau, which is often exposed to the wind. Cross Baudinard. Continue on the D71 road towards Bauduen. Enjoy the most beautiful views of the Sainte-Croix lake. At the next crossroads, leave the lake shore and turn right towards Aups. Gently climb up the D9 road, then descend to the starting point.
