From Orcières Merlette 1850 to the leisure centre: gentle adret, cool ubac and comfort at the leisure centre. As you make your way between the hamlets, take advantage of the sundial at Montcheny to set your watch back.
Depart from the Orcières Merlette 1850 Tourist Office. Head up towards "Queyrelet", then follow "Maison de l'enfant", "Piou Piou" and "Les Huttes" to cross "Les Estaris" with its proud stone houses. One hundred metres after the hamlet, at the crossroads, turn left onto the wide track ("Garnaudenqs") that begins a gentle descent towards "Montcheny". Go through the hamlet of Les Foures, and at Les Quartiers, turn right towards Les Chabauds. Then descend to "Pont Peyron", "Martelle" and finally "La Base de Loisirs" (1,310 m).
You can cut off after the hamlet of Montcheny to go straight to the village of Orcières. Return by shuttle bus from the Base de Loisirs.
