Departure from beacon 25 on the RD 6204, or directly from the car park located on the roof of the Fontan media library, then beacon 26. After a few zigzags, the fairly steep path rises steadily on the right bank of the valley. You will not be able to miss the tag 197, clearly visible.

At the 197 beacon, the highest point of your hike, you will turn left. The path is discreet, and will allow you to descend gently with superb panoramas: opposite, dominating Fontan, the summit of Lugo and its Saorgian neighbor Anan. The path leads to the bend of a track. Take it to the left to continue your descent. This fairly recent trail cuts the trail several times. 5 minutes further down, in a second bend, leave the track and follow the arrow and the yellow markers to your right to return to the old path. You will see a ruin below, and the path seems to plunge towards the valley of Caïros.

Be careful, here the paths are little marked, and the beacon 198 is not very visible because the post is in the broom, and the signs, damaged by a fire, are on the ground.

Take completely to the left: the path thus bypasses the great ruin at the bottom. You will walk along a beautiful olive grove on the right, and gardens above you.

The path will be crossed then by a path under a fairly large house, continue straight ahead. It gently joins the RD 6204, shortly before the junction for the Caïros valley.

You will reach your starting point in about ten minutes.
