One-day hike, between Gardanne and Gréasque, in the countryside, on the traces of a mining past.
In the colours of Provence, red and ochre earth, Gardanne is a luminous town with a rich industrial (former mining basin) and cultural past (only village painted by Cézanne...). This hike, for young and old, will take you from the heart of the old town to the wooded and shady countryside, crossed by the Canal de Provence, pushing, if you feel like it, to the Hély d'Oissel well in Gréasque (lignite extraction) and back. From valley to ridge, you will enjoy a calm and soothing nature with beautiful views.
