This fourth stage between Bayasse and Bousieyas once again crosses the heart of Mercantour National Park and takes you to Haute Tinée.
From Bayasse, the route climbs up the Moutière valley to the Col de la Moutière (2,454 m), crosses over to the Col de Colombart (2,539 m) and then follows the Blanche ridge to the Col de la Colombière (2,237 m). It then descends to cross the Tinée and reaches Bousieyas.
