A pleasant family walk in summer, entirely shaded, to discover Mother Church, one of the oldest religious buildings in the Hautes-Alpes. You'll follow an ancestral Way of the Cross used by the parishioners of Saint Disdier.
Saint Disdier> Les Jouves> Mère Église Saint Disdier.
From Saint Disdier, you can reach Mother Church by a shaded path but with fairly steep sections. You will notice here a rock different from the rest of Dévoluy, it is the Grès de
Saint-Disdier. At Mère Église, walk along the cemetery and take the path that descends to the left in the direction of Saint Disdier par les Jouves. At a place called Les Jouves,
walk 150 m and take a downhill path on the left marked in yellow.
You walk along a stone wall, the path branches off to the left and runs along the
Souloise to St Disdier.
