1 - Start - viewpoints
Before you go, you can admire the panoramic viewpoints of Laragne and the Chabre Mounain in the south, with the Céans valley from east to west : the cirque of St Genis, Eyguians and Pont-Lagrand, the hilltop village of Lagrand, the Rocher and Col de Garde, and in the back of the valley, the Rocher St Michel.
To start the hike, take the asphalt road going up, behind the church (with the yellow signs) and proceed forward until a three-way fork (ignore the right path on the way).
2 - Crossroads
Take the rightmost path and walk along the plateau while admiring the view, in the distance you can see the Rocher St Michel overlooking the municipality of Orpierre in front.
Turn left on a flat trail (the highest one) to go back down into a more enclosed space. Then follow the road down then a trail going up until reaching a track.
3 - Track - return trip
At the post 147, go left on the large road to get back to Saléon, with the cirque of St Genis in the distance. You can now follow the starting path to get back to the church.
