A very enjoyable and bucolic stroll in the shade on the Pié-Léger plateau.
Follow the path on the right at the end of the parking lot in the shade of the pine trees. The path can be a bit narrow at some points, but after 700 m the vegetation gets rarer and you can see the village of Verclause appear on the right, as well as the ruins of the dungeon and the church's bell tower.
At the end of the path, take the left road up (the signs on the right lead to the valley of Baudon).
At the top of this path, you will arrive on the edge of the plateau which you can follow on the left to quickly go inwards, and cross an area full of vegetation at the level of a stone sculpture.
After a flat area, you will be near the center of the plateau, go right on the road which goes up until a fence with barbwire.
You'll get back to the edge of the plateau. Follow along the fence on the left on a rocky trail, above the Eygues valley.
A trail goes down, don't miss the next crossroad : turn left, but be careful, the slope up is steep ! You'll get back on a path.
At the path, go right and go back down to the start.
