Looped route. You'lle be pedaling uphill at the start (130m height difference), and then it will be downhill the rest of the way, with a panoramic view over the MontDauphin fortress site. The path ends et the campground road, with its very slight uphill and downhill curves, running alongside the Chagne mountain stream.
From downtown Guillestre, follow the D86 as it climbs towards Risoul. Prepare yourself - these 2 km will be the most strenuous until you reach the hamlet of La Rua! Turn right (follow the signs for Le Clots des Bruns, les Traverses, Chauvet, les Bruns,...), and let yourself glide downhill! You'll pass through several pretty hamlets (including Chauvet, where you can refresh yourself at the fountain) to the hamlet of Isclasses. You'll come to the shopping area, pass the Intermarché store and at the traffic circle go straight on to avoid skirting the D902. At the end of this artisanal zone, cross the D902 and take the campsite road opposite. Follow this quiet cycle lane uphill to the end, where you'll find the starting point of the tour.
VARIATION: Feeling a little weak in the legs? Don't worry, if you don't want to go over a big difference in altitude, just cycle up and back along the campsite cycle path!
