This more challenging route leads you from Le Sauze 1700 to the Cabane à Jo restaurant where you can enjoy a mountain lunch or break and admire the exceptional panoramic view of the Cirque des Brecs.
Start: Either next to the former Hôtel du Pyjama at Sauze 1700, or at the foot of the Lovers' Trail at La Rente. At the start, follow the same signs as for the Sauze 1700, La Rente, Sauze 1700 hike until you reach the junction with the path used by the grooming machines.
Head uphill and follow the signs. Cross the piste des amoureux, cross towards a wooden electricity pole and continue following the signs.
Cross the Lovers' Ski Lift and follow the signs up to the restaurant. Take the same route back down or take the chairlift down in pedestrian mode.
