- Depart from Hôtel de ville, place Stanislas Fabre.
From Hôtel de Ville, take boulevard Gambetta north to the former Coop vinicole, then chemin de la Ribassée to the threshing floor.
- At the threshing floor (post SB 81), follow signs for "Col de l'Aigle", yellow markings. Follow the Chemin de Ste Madeleine along the bottom of the valley of the same name, then into the Vallon de Dausserand. Exit to the right along a steeply sloping path to the Siblette crossroads.
- Siblette crossroads.
Continue north on the large track, marked in yellow.
- At the Escoussaous crossroads (post SB 82), follow signs for "Col de l'Aigle".
Continue straight on northbound, yellow markings.
- Jas de Sylvain crossroads (post SB83), follow signs for "Col de l'Aigle".
Head west, yellow markings.
- Jas de Sylvain, continue west, yellow markings.
- Col de l'Aigle (post SB 84), follow signs for "Col du St Pilon", red and white markings.
On the GR 98, turn right to the north.
- Carrefour de l'Escandaou (post SB 06), follow direction ''Col du St Pilon'', red and white markings.
Keep right on the GR 98 heading east. Cross the "Champ des Lièvres" to reach the Sainte-Baume crest near the antennas (military domain) and continue eastwards.
- Crête de la Sainte-Baume (post SB 88), follow signs for "Cuges-les-Pins".
Leave the GR 98 and turn right to the south. Yellow markings. Descend rapidly into the Beaumissard valley, passing the cistern and then the Beaumissard shelter.
- At the Beaumissard crossroads (post SB 87), follow signs for "Four à cade - Jas de Frédéric".
Leave the yellow trail and turn left on the blue trail.
- Four à cade
Continue along the blue path, arriving at a large track, turn right for 40 m and take the path on the left.
- Jas de Frédéric (post SB 86), follow signs for "Cuges-les-Pins".
At Jas de Frédéric, continue downhill on the track heading south.
- Carrefour du Puits de la Bouscarle (post SB 85), follow signs for "Cuges-les-Pins".
Take the wide track to the right.
- Carrefour des Escoussaous (post SB 82), follow signs for "Cuges-les-Pins", yellow markings.
From the crossroads, return to Cuges-les-Pins via the same route as the outward journey.
- Arrive at Hôtel de ville Place Stanislas Fabre.
