The small tarmac road continues through the village, then becomes a track for 2.5km to the Abbaye du Laverq.
Follow this track for 4km to the Plan Bas picnic area.
The return journey takes the same route.
From the Abbey, you can take a footpath to make the descent more fun (but beware of walkers!).
