Not to be confused with its illustrious namesake on Col Agnel, Le Pain de Sucre, with its gentler, more accessible terrain, has nothing to be ashamed of, offering you an exceptional 360° panorama of Guillestre! You'll feel like the king of the world, perched up there!
The walk climbs gently up to the Pain de Sucre. It's a pleasant, easy route, with beautiful scenery as a backdrop the whole way. There's a short, steep climb to the summit, because yes, the view has to be earned, but you can climb it! On the way back, you'll pass along the bucolic Longeagne canal, which feeds the Simoust plateau from Ceillac.
