Family walk to discover the amazing white bell tower "le Serre du Clocher", its view over the village of Rambaud, its orientation table and its 360° panorama over the Gapençais, the Champsaur and the Val d'Avance.
- Departure and arrival: car park adjacent to the town hall of Rambaud, in the village

1. Take the road for 150 m to the church. When you arrive in front of the church, turn left to go up to the Serre du Clocher. After a 100 m walk on a steep slope, reach the bell tower of Rambaud and the orientation table. Take advantage of the 360° panorama to admire the Charance mountain, the Vieux Chaillol, the Piolit and the Aiguilles de Chabrières. Continue along the path by a small path winding through the black marl, towards marker N°2
2. Follow the track on the left towards the hamlet of Les Gays. The marker N°3 is 200 metres further on
3. Turn left on a small slope towards the Serre de l'Aigle.Descend into the combe and cross the stream over the small bridge. Continue on the ascending path, enjoying the shade of the large trees. Shortly before reaching the road, turn left and continue climbing. Cross the road and take the path directly opposite. Immediately after the first bend in the road, turn left onto the ascending path. Reach the Serre de l'Aigle by numerous switchbacks. The Serre de l'Aigle stands at an altitude of 998m.
A picnic table is available for a contemplative stop. Continue along the path until you reach the electricity pylon and then go beyond it to join the track that leads to the centre of the village of Rambaud
A LITTLE HISTORY
The emblematic "Serre du Clocher" (bell tower), a small monument, stands on the same site as the Sainte-Croix church, the first church in Rambaud, which was destroyed by the Protestants in 1565. From this bell tower and its orientation table, the view of the surrounding mountains is breathtaking.
