Start from the Sauze 1700 piste front.
Head for the arrival of the Sauze chairlift, then take the slightly downhill slope on the right (do not follow the PR du Chapeau de Gendarme on the left-hand slope).
The route follows the main track as far as the Col des Alaris, then the forest hut of the same name.
At 1508m, stop descending and turn left onto the uphill track, which is a little steep at first.
The return journey takes the same route.
