Etang de Citis et Pourra :
The Citis and Pourra ponds are part of the chain of inland ponds between the Etang de Berre to the east and the Mediterranean to the west. They constitute one of the last wetlands of remarkable ecological and landscape quality, in a highly industrialised sector. Bordered by magnificent reed beds and surrounded by the Castillon forest, they offer a beautiful diversity of flora and fauna, both aquatic and terrestrial. Finally, part of their banks is still occupied by traditional agricultural activities (Ranquet farm at Citis cultures at Pourra) and hunting.
