From Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt, between vineyards and orchards, you quickly reach the bucolic valley of Font Jouval.

Coming up very quickly, a short but intense ascent awaits you. You then reach the path of the impressive Madeleine cliff which overhangs the village of Lioux. A series of climbs and two beautiful descents through wild valleys follow, leading to the famous village of Gordes. Next comes a descent alternating between tracks and paths in a natural landscape of limestone and stones, which leads you up to Saumane-de-Vaucluse and its castle. One final push leads you over the Fontaine-de-Vaucluse.
