Near Tarascon, 14km hike on the Montagnette massif, starting from the Abbaye Saint Michel du Frigolet (visit on your return).
Located north-west of the Bouches du Rhône, the hillock is a concentrate of Provence, it offers on a reduced scope, of rocky cliffs, slopes covered with aromatic herbs, and thrive where hidden valleys, olive, almond and apricot trees... The Montagnette also invite hikers to explore his heritage jewels: the arrows on the Saint-Michel de Frigolet Abbey and the charming medieval village of Boulbon. Hikers birders will enjoy de la faune ailée who found refuge in the limestone cliffs folds, while gastronomes cueilleront a few sprigs of thyme.
