At the summit is a pyramid that served as a sighting point for the Train des Pignes tunnel. Enjoy views over the villages of La Colle-Saint-Michel and Peyresq, and the summits of Grand Coyer, Ruch, Rent and Grand Cordoeil.
At the start of the cross-country ski trails, take the path that crosses the snow front and then bends right towards the farm to join a wide path. Continue left towards the furthest building. Before you reach the farm shed, take the left-hand route up to the summit of Montruvel.
The return journey starts on your left if you have the village of La Colle-Saint-Michel in front of you. You start downhill on a wide track that joins the route at the farm. Then take the same route back to the starting point.
