A loop between alpine pastures, forest and beautiful views!
Departing from Risoul 1850 or Vars, this loop takes you between larch and alpine meadows in the heart of the Forêt Blanche. At the end of the ascent, you'll discover a splendid view of the surrounding peaks and the Ecrins massif. Slightly technical sections on the mono-track make this route suitable for experienced climbers!
There are two possible departure points for this itinerary: from Risoul 1850 (snow front) or from Vars (taking either the Chabrières Télémix or the Mayt chairlift, or pedaling up, with an additional height difference to take into account).
