Enduro-style downhill route along the old Galibier route, then an easier route along the Guisane river.
From the Henri Desgranges monument, follow the old Galibier road to the right (wide dirt track).
Cross the D1091 and take the path opposite down into the valley, descending to the level of the Guisane.
Follow the left bank, passing the hamlet of La Madeleine and then Le Lauzet.
At Les Boussardes, cross over to the right bank and reach Le Casset. Finish easily at Monêtier.
