Pass and Circus of Encombrette

  • Discovery of the glacial circus of Encombrette, in the heart of the Mercantour national Park, a privileged place where reigns wild fauna (ibex, chamois, marmots)

  • At the departure of Parking du Laus (access restricted), you will take the main trail and then take the path in the pastures, leading you to the Col de l'Encombrette ; A beautiful view will await you with the Mont Pelat, Lake Allos and below the lakes of Encombrette.

    Variation: the hike of the Col de l'Encombrette is possible at the start of the Hamlet of Clignon-Haut, between Allos and Colmars-Les-Alpes (more difficult and longer)
