At the Col de St-Véran, things get serious! It's a round trip to the Pic de Caramantran via the border ridge that will blow your mind! Return to the Col de Saint-Véran to begin the descent to the Lac de la Blanche, or for the more adventurous (off-piste marked by cairns), Lac Blanchet. The Tête des Toillies plays coyly with its reflection in their crystal-clear waters. A short snack break at the refuge de la Blanche to regain your strength before heading back down to the Chapelle de Clausis and the shuttle bus!
