From the Pont de la Serre parking lot, walk along the forest track that runs alongside the river.
In 20 minutes, you'll come to a small wooden bridge over the Lance. Don't take it, just keep going straight ahead. The path follows the river without any alternative. It is possible to make hooks towards the riverbed to observe the many pools, but do so with extreme caution. A safe distance is needed to avoid falling, as the edges of the precipices are not stable.
The terrain eases a little upstream of the largest waterfall, where there are 3 beautiful basins that are easy to reach for a refreshing dip after leaving the GR. After a break in this enchanting spot, rejoin the nearby GR and follow it in the opposite direction.
