At the foot of the South face of the St Victoire mountain, this hike will make you discover an atmosphere like nowhere else, through a typically Provencal garrigue and heritage. All along this route, the mineral world is very present, from near and far the 400m high limestone cliff dominates the whole route. Partly located on the Grand Site Sainte Victoire and on the domain of the Conseil Départemental des Bouches-du-Rhône, the itinerary crosses a sensitive natural area for which it is part of a protection, development and awareness programme: sylvo-pastoralism, hillside cultivation, path maintenance, work on the Chapelle du Trou and around the Cézanne refuge... Not far from Aix-en-Provence, this walking loop will take you on a journey through a part of Provence with its countless viewpoints.
